SWYI Belt Test

A video of testing night at Shaolin Wu Yi Institute. This is a test for beginning and intermediate levels. The test consists of basic kicks and punches, short forms and traditional Long Fist forms for their respective levels. The Instructors are looking to see if the student has a grasp of the movements of these forms. Although mastery is not required, that come through years of training, students need to show balance and power when executing these techniques. Instructors also want to see how students handle the stress of performing in front of their peers, family and friends as well as their instructors.
