Sometimes its just not fair - iRacing - LukeD

Gave the guys loads of room as i could hear a car on my right but couldnt see anything. didnt realise there was 3 of us but the vette on the inside tried to get the racing line and 3 into 1 well, just dont go. :(

was very annoyed at this as my SR has been going up and i was out of the race with a massive kick in the balls to my SR :( unhappy

@xXxSkiLarxXx it Does, :D my Suspensions was fucked i was crabbing after that had to retire from the race. some cars dont have great bodywork damage some dont but they all have good suspension and steering damage ect.

@Suprasupra1 Simulation is still a category under gaming though. Iracing, no matter how realistic is a game.

A 'true' simulator would be nearly 100% realistic and would require a full set up, including moving cockpit etc to simulate everything, not just the physics of driving.

There is nothing wrong with admitting its a game. Obviously as a sim, it far far different from your typical 'game', but never the less, it is indeed still a game. "Do you 'play' Iracing?" is what people ask.

@Redslayer86 You just said it yourself, It's a simulator, it simulates real life. A game does not, a game portrays something real, but uses imagination so you can drive at 300km/h around corners whilst being chased by a fleet of police cars. I understand what you are saying, but they are two very different things. To be honest I don't really care about all this game / simulator crap, it's just when I understand something I tend to try and show the proof. Call it what you want, it's fantastic.
