PLEASE CALL police 1st pct at 1-888-692-7233 We are surrounded by the cops as I write this from Liberty Square.
This happened this morning. Marissa was simply filming and the cops forcefully surrounded her, did not read her her rights, did not give her any reason for arrest despite the fact that she was not resisting arrest. She was violently handled!

Protests can be done in silent. Its pitiful to yell shame at officers who are just doing their jobs. These people have no idea what police brutality is, you put a finger on one of these cowards and they scream bloody murder. This is merely a riot full of cowards. Without these officers the streets would be full of looters and broken glass. It's sad because they drown out the real protesters, most of those people are just there to yell at cops.

These cops dont want to be here, they don't wake up and look forward to arresting their peers. It's probably slightly easier given that these people are morons who are belligerent and disrespectful to police. Officers deserve respect and they will throw the cuffs on ya when you cross the lines they set. These protest have no real leaders, just a bunch of whiners who want to film police brutality. It's pathetic how they wail and scream as if they are being beaten.

And these people protesting want communism/socialism, that is their message. Free speech is fine, but a bunch of losers protesting capitalism and whatever other stupid messages they are told to believe in should have no rights.

These people are pathetic! If you resist arrest then they're going to be forceful with you...get a clue!! Just because you didn't murder someone it doesn't give you the right to struggle against an officer! Everyone around is slapping at the cops and making things worse than it has to be.

he doesn't have to read her her rights, the only time an officer needs to read someone their rights is if they are being questioned. refer to the case: Miranda v. Arizona.
