A slight modification was made in the porting this past week to the Centershotrifles.com MUSCLE brake.
Loads used are max loaded Accubonds 180grain using H4350 through 225gr Accubonds!
The load I have settled on, is pushing the 180grain at 2900fps and change! ACCURACY? cloverleaf at 100 yards with a cutoff Savage factory barrel. Clay birds at 500 yards 8 out of ten shots! I now have a new go to HUNTER! Recoil? Zero felt recoil in my hand!!!!

  • @mrsuperterd Um... The caliber is what matters, not the format. A pistol firing a rifle round (namely the .338 win mag) still fires A RIFLE ROUND! And what is up with the anti-America BS? If your people keep going the way they are, like England, you won't be able to own guns at all. So yeah, STFU.

  • @mrsuperterd you're Canadian -_- mean your are an ignorant retard your friend just sucks at aiming a 30-06 can easily take down a moose it just takes someone that actually knows how to actually shoot a rifle correctly and knows his placements which your friend does not know either of them

  • @xOSUfan33x Anything from a 30-06 to 338 lapua can also take down a moose in one hit.

  • @mrsuperterd And what's so great about Canada? Before being a douchebag on other people's videos how about you get a little common sense. Try looking up this gun's statistics before giving it shit, maybe it can take down a moose in one hit. Now shut the fuck up and go make me some Canadian bacon.

  • moose hunting with a pistol? only in america. idiots fuck you have to give a moose more than one to put it down you plan on pulling the boat out? in canada up north it's all about the semi auto 30-06 i've had buddy that have gave moose 5 30-06 and still took it 100 yards to drop take it heart out and and still walks it's a fucking moose bolt pistol .338 what kinda fps energy you get froma short barrel thats a dumb idea if I ever seen one but than agian your in america.

  • @358hammer

Please note that the video you are referring too is of the first Generation of the muscle brake. We are now into the third generation of the muscle brake and most guns have had most all of the muzzle rise elliminated! The 510 Rogue (ELE) shooting 650gr bullets moves 1 inch tothe rear and the muzzle does not rise.

  • @golferchin76

That is part of it. Another part is that all the weight from my guns exist in one spot.

I use faster burning powders than most rifle guys so dwell time is shorter. They typically gain velocity throughout the length of the barrel with slower burning powders. I use the fastest powders a given case will allow. Like H4831 in the 338 Edge when most are using H1000.

Very dangerous being next to any muzzle, braked or otherwise.

  • @358hammer "dynamics of......a different kind of recoil", you mean the time a bullet stays in the barrel of a hand cannon like yours is shorter than that in a regular rifle so it creates less recoil?

Yeah I understand properly designed muzzle brake can help shooting a lot, and it is really not fun to shoot a rifle that kicks 'mucho' harder than a 12 gauge shot gun.

And yes, your guns (i mean, hand cannons) spit out gas sideways. I think it is dangerous to stand next to the muzzle when firing.

  • @golferchin76

Not all brakes are created equal is part of the explanation. The dynamics of the shorter gun creates a different kind of recoil. Personally I do not want to remove all the recoil and specifically the muzzle rise. For ever action there is an equal and opposite reaction. If a gun is rising it is using recoil energy, hence not ending up on the shooter. In the picture of the 338 Edge, that is a lot of horse power. Very good brake is being used!

  • @358hammer why is that? why the difference of recoil between rifle and hand gun? I've seen youtube of people shooting large calibers rifles like 338 winchester or lapua and they look painful. Why are your hand guns (although still kick with a big punch) look much easier to shoot in comparison?
