  • Don't use thread lock, because you used the old shader valve. If that valve happens to leak, you are replacing the whole line. Evacuate the system to remove old valve and be sure to oil the O ring.

  • you should use a backup wrench on the stationary welded section of the old fitting to prevent the new fitting from snapping off the line..he just held the line not the fitting...
