I don't understand what makes IVAW members traitors. These guys are speaking their minds. They have issues with the goals of the war and its conflicting with the ideals they thought they were fighting for.
By invoking Hugo Chavez, I'm not even sure what kind of assumptions you are making. Members of IVAW come from all over the political spectrum... so you can't pin this as liberal or left-wing problem/conspiracy.
