@mahadragon actually being from the 80s it was more likely referred to as alternative-seeing as how i grew up on this stuff thats what we called it

random but if i waer a black kinda baggy hoddie with thumb holes (that does gets washed on a dayily bases) every day, waer nothing but black, have black hair, and barly smile does that make someone emo,punk, or goth? oh and my room had no sunlight or bright colors and theres creepy drawings everywear.

Guys, Bauhaus WAS a gothic rock band.
It followed the gothic subculture...while "modern" gothic means one who plays the electric guitar and wears facepaint??? Such a misinterpretation.
