i have just a ant farm you buy but how can i make one would a tub and sand do???

A tub of sand would work ok, but make sure it's moist.

Errr...wood ants and carpenter ants are the same. You should do some more research, and carpenter ants are many different colors.

Technically if its camponotus its called a carpenter ant. Most people have the black carpenter ant (camponotus pennsylvanicus)

i have my queen ant for like 5 months :D she's the best. She's still trying to rear some ants not to good though. I named her >Queen Lacy

well for my hosue there ant call carputer and i had to fight them off with posion that human vs ant human:1 ants:0

a lot of bugs fly around when those wars are going on and i thot it was today cuz i saw a hole bunch of flying things and dragon flys everywhere. figured they were mosquitos haha

they're probably "fly ants" then, as "red" ants can get up to a dark color.

i saw a hole bunch of flying ants everywhere they were all over the street and they were mostly going after the red ants...i have seen a lot of ants lately but no flyers

there's no specific date or time, it's random. I'm only talking about ants. Just lately, there was a flight and i found two queens.
