  • I wonder why Guy and James did not win any awards at the inside soap awards last week? This story line, the reveal episode, the professional acting of Guy and James deseved awards Can anyone tell me why?.

  • i think they did a great job! i mean the whole point of it was that craig wasnt and isnt gay! he's just fallen in love with another man and dosent understand it! thats why he cant show any feelings towards jp outside only inside away from every one! that why they had to break up!

  • I think though you have to take into account that, that one kiss, John Paul asked Craig if they were alone and he said yeah, so they kissed. After that, the only scene that they had alone was right before Sarah found out they were both going to Dublin and part of the whole thing with Craig leaving and not knowing who he is was not being able to touch/kiss John Paul in public so it wouldn't have made since to have them all lovey in public when that's the whole reason why John Paul walked away.

  • One great aspect of this story is how JP & Craig remain embedded in their home town world rather than flee to a gay ghetto. Seeing them in a multitude of normal relationships makes them even more normal.

  • I think Bryan Kirkwood is amazing for creating the most beautiful and honest love story. James and Guy portayed it incredibly, as well.

  • i love him, he's sooo cute!<3

  • They probably didnt win any awards coz in sum peoples eyes Hollyoaks is still seen as a low rate soap. I agree with duskysoda, there were some scenes that could have had a kiss or a hug, but nothing ever happened. The park bench scene was the worst offender x

  • Couldn't agree more, as well as with the above comments. I do believe the actors do what they are instructed to, but in no way have they portrayed Craig and JP as fair as they have done with the other straight couples on the show. It's obvious, just by looking at how Craig/Sarah is portrayed in comparison to Craig/JP. The producers have a lot to learn from Queer as Folk and CowLip before they even come close to normalise gay couple portrayals on TV.

  • thanx sooo much!!
