Sight fishing peacocks? LAME!!! Not only that, you have poor technique, using the wrong bait and have way too much money in that gear. You can fish all those canals with a canoe, or even on foot. The fishing peacock is always the best when it's hot, mid day always the best. They are dormant and do not do well in cooler or cold water.

We catch them all year long. The best months generally are from March or April through October.

Video was shot with a Sony Z-1 in HD....when it was uploaded YouTube did not support HD videos nor vids in excess of 100MB...so the quality had to be reduced in order to be uploaded on YouTube. Has nothing to do with the camera...

If it has fins and lives in the water I will try to catch it! I am not partial to what type of bait I throw...Thats right to each his own!!
