  • That would be the point of this video...to find out if there is a need. Again, I personally don't see the use. Thanks for your input.

  • There absolutely is a need for it if you're shooting with video cameras in the field and they use HDMI to connect to external video recorders. I'd agree with you about home installs as those components will not be moving around, but camcorders are a whole other thing. P.S. just because YOU can't imagine a need doesn't mean there isn't one! ;-)
