What an incredible thing racing in this country used to be. CART & NASCAR in the 80's! Fantastic.Those were times we will NEVER, EVER see again. What a shame!

Little Al. Awesome. He was so fucking good. I missed this as I was too young. I watched lots from 1990 onwards and Cart back then was as good as anything else i've ever watched in motor sport. IRL is a fucking joke.

Yes it did, they made some fatal mistakes however. If you notice, most of the lead drivers are American, This is an easy sale to umm people in the Middle and in the South. The fact that CART was dominated by South Americans and Europeans in the 90's lead to the start of IRL which was flawed and of course its dominated by Europeans and South Americans save for a few token victories in the Indy 500 and Sam Hornish Jr' championship runs.

Do you have the segment they played, showing Sr. and Jr., to the song Leader of the Band? It was made during this race, I believe. It was great!
