Headswim - Violent

Headswim were well ahead of their time with a mix of metal, funk & synth.

I think I saw them once, but can't quite remember; Rock City and Readings exist in a very hazy part of my memory from the 95-99 period. How can alcohol be such a friend and such an enemy at the same time?

The '94 "Tense Moments" EP is pretty much unavailable now, unless you get lucky on ebay. "Violent" is my personal favourite from the EP, so enjoy!

Great band, the first 2 EP's and the first full length album were great! Then they changed from this amazing rock band into a MOR indie band, shame!

@thewolfatyourdoor666 yeah they were really interesting and although he sang in english they a were really english sounding take on grunge, suprised they werent massive in US, better than Bush. I think they started taking themselves too seriously and stopped having fun

Nah - 'despite yourself' is a fantastic record. It's been one of my favourite albums for a long time.
