This is the grand opening of Crittenden's Store in Double Springs, Winston County, Alabama, possibly on October 2, 1948. The year was obtained from the newest model cars shown, and the rest was obtained from researching newspapers of that year. The building is still in Double Springs, adjacent from the courthouse. Although the quality was not good and has no sound, it's still spectacular. This movie was obtained from Judy Crittenden Boykin and copied by Mike Frazier.
