  • WTF it was banned because people thought the dog was being abused?!? I have a jack Russell and she does what my family call '

the russel shake' all the time, it's just something they do!

  • The dog is actually on a shaking floor.

  • Ummm, how did the words "animal abuse" ever get brought into this comment thread?!! Lol, great commercial....very funny!

  • I have the twin to this dog and the Jacks are just like this. She will shake a the weirdest situations ( like going for a walk) and sings in the car. No dogs were abused in the making of this commercial. Lighten up!!

  • This is still funny to this day. My dog sings to her favorite music :)

  • I can never stop laughing at this, i see no reason for banning this, that dog is happy, its even singing

  • The 'Shake' Is a trademark of any Terrier it is their way of psyching their selves up

  • Love tgis

  • Animal abuse my arse, it's a fucking advert what are they trying to prove :S

  • @DeathKitty123456 OK, do yourself a favour and Google this advert. Find out where it was filmed, what Volkswagen actually had to say about it and who the dogs actually are. I think I'll be more convinced by the words of the American Humane Society - who found no problems with this advert - than a bunch of RSPCA fanatics who take perfectly harmless adverts off the air that sell the product well and charm the public.

  • @TheMonochromeBird i didn't even call it abuse lmao i know what REAL abuse is and actually i do study animal behaviour, and yes you can make a dog calm by body language but to make a dog do this you would have to scare it...
