  • I know all the punk purists will probably give me a stern youtube comment for daring to say it, but I really wanna hear this song done in a fully bluegrass version. It's obviously influenced by bluegrass as you can tell by the vocals and guitar pattern, I think it would be just awesome to get some fiddle and banjo in there.

  • @Deanbass77

    No stern on my part!

  • @2666ification

I thouroughly agree. I would keep it at the temp as it is but it would be nice to hear some fiddles and a standup bass in here. :-)

  • @Deanbass77 I'm right there with you! There's something moving about punk played acoustic/country/roots. I've said many times punk is country with distortion and pick up tempo.

  • @Deanbass77 NOFX did a similar rendition of their song "Doornails" with the band Old Man Markley this year on their tour, and it was was awesome. There should be a studio recording released soon, but there are a bunch of live videos on Youtube currently. Check it out!

  • @Deanbass77 Haven't you heard of Folkpunk?

  • @MrRam17 Would of been better if Rise Against opened for Bad Religion though ;) Saw Rancid open for Rise Against few years back... seeing them only do a 45 minute set was quite sad. If BR comes around you headlining, don't miss it. They're amazing live, especially in small venues.

  • @Deanbass77 Punk purists are trying to purify something that rejects purity.

They are all hypocrites that should be disregarded is what I'm getting at.

  • I saw Bad Religion on their tour with Rise Against earlier this year... It had to be one of the greatest shows ever, the definition of epic! :-)

  • @Deanbass77 That's a great idea. I think Old Crow Medicine Show would be a great candidate.

  • @thomasparg this guy probably has tourettes syndrome, don't mind him

  • @rastablues1 No I haven't, I'll have to check it out.
