Comfort Care for Carol Ray. Her last plea to live.

Remember while you are watching this video that Carol is considered "brain dead". It takes a minute (1:16) for Carol to speak. Be patient. Her daughter and some family members thinks she wants to die. She has spoken "I want to live" but her daughter ignores her wishes. Her daughter ordered her food and water to be taken from her. Video was taken 6 days into being starved and dehydrated. She is left to die! This video is taken by her sister in law trying to prove she wants to live! After her daughter found out Carol was video taped she threatened legal action. This is what our society is reduced to....taking peoples lives even when they speak for themselves! Carol was living a normal life a week prior to this video. She became ill(still don't know what happened) and a week later her daughter ordered "comfort care" (look up comfort care).

Her daughter put her in a rest home instead of letting family members take care of her. She died April 1 2008 on her daughters birthday, alone in a filthy facility. Still can't believe this happened! We are still heartbroken. Carol was only 52yrs old.

OMG this is amazing. i have a friend who has died less than a week ago. he was rushed to the hospital due to aneurysm in the brain. he got in the hospital in coma and was considered brain dead. he died after a day while in coma. hes only 15 :(

God bless! She apparently wants to live... you did a good job recording this helpless woman. Its brings hope to all in despair of losing their loved one because of "brain death" God bless you and your family. May Carol rest in peace!
