The video was shot over a period of 3 days. I have one feeder beside my canning room window and if I leave the window open the birds will fly about in our house. Most will fly back out on their own but the odd few will gently land on your finger and you can send them back out that way.

The noise from the birds is incredible!

  • What bird feeder is that? I can't find it on the internet.

  • @Dasdfjkl I bought it at Wal-Mart.

  • @kansasa1 Thank you. I just got home from walmart, they had two left and I bought them both. To me this feeder has the flowers oriented like they are in a real plant. I filled them with water and have them in my the house, just to check for leaks. No leaks so far. Is your feeder still holding up well? What made me want to get a feeder is, last week I saw a hummingbird in the back yard. I never saw one in my yard before! And I have lived here for over 20 years.

  • @Dasdfjkl I've had my feeders for quite a few years now, the video is from 3 years ago, and no leaks on both of them. I didn't get near the amount of hummers this year as I have in previous years but I think it's because our weather wasn't quite as warm as it usually is. The hummers have been gone for some time now, you must live in a much warmer area than us to still have hummers?

  • you feed them with water or another liquid????

  • @mellyvel1 Water and sugar that's all.

  • @Maxdwolf -- LOL. I thought the same thing especially after watching some other videos of large groups of hummers. I think the most I have ever seen is three at a time.

  • @kansasa1 I am in NJ. It got quite a bit cooler this week, I am probably to late to try and attract them now. I read that they are migratory and they find places to feed by eye sight.

  • what a beautiful video. You may want to take a look at my videos of a hummingbird landing on my nose and one landing on my lower lip. I am very careful not to hurt them. Thanks again for this beautiful video.

  • Who do you think you're fooling? That's 5 pounds worth at most. ;-)
