And so we have a winner! After a night of fun-filled but gruelling activities for the 50 contestants at Zouk, including push-ups, spontaneous advertisement sketches, busking, boy-band dancing, and surely, the anticipation of the title itself, the CLEO Most Eligible Bachelor of the Year is Bachelor #49, Henry Golding!

Hosted by the sharply dressed complete with pixie do Serena C, ladies from the audience at Zouk were invited on stage for each and every round of games with their favourite bachelors. To be noted is a comedy act by one of the bachelors Kubhaer T. Jethwani, who drew laughs with his spontaneous Nivea Body Wash ad, where he impressed the girl by using the body wash after two unsuccessful counts of push ups and shimmying for her attention. However there were also moments when the bachelors were too stunned to answer questions posed by the ladies who were invited onstage, such as How Would you Tell a Girl You Are Not Into Her?. Ray Cheong, who also participated in the spontaneous ad contest, performed a hilarious bhangra-like jig showcasing smelly armpits after being assigned a Dr. Bombay song for his teams Nivea ad. And the bachelors creativity was rather severely tested during a fashion accessory design game, where they had to create something wearable out of Equal stickers (among which were a whip and choker). And if that was not already challenging, other bachelors had to imitate a Bharanatyam performance by two dancers from Aswara. It was a night of Herculean feats, and we certainly have to say that the bachelors are all winners in their very own rights.
