We were on a ride in North Carolina when we came across the Fields of the Woods Bible Park. Here we found the worlds largest ten commandments.

  • Our ex-pastor Charles Sweatt had the privilege to attend this past (2010) General Assembly. He said it was brought up to close the Fields of the Wood cause of lack of funds. How can they close it when it belongs to God. I f people love God and His Church I think they would want to support it. There is no way of knowing how many people has gotten saved at the Fields of the Wood. It is really an awesome place!!!! Like Jacob said this is a dreadful placde!!

  • Next time you visit, carry your Bible with you, and walk up the stairs on the western hill (opposite the Ten Commandments). Read the Bible verses on the stone markers as you climb. Many will be familiar, but some may be a bit unfamiliar. Stop, have a seat on the stairway, and look up those verses, their context, and the footnote commentaries. Somehow learning has more impact in a setting like this, and The Word seems even more alive, more powerful, and more essential!

  • What a awesome place. We have been there many times and when we leave we are already looking forward to going back.Everyone who goes make sure to go the shearer school hose and Holy Ghost monuement just a short distance down the road. Also if you go on Sunday and don't want to miss a church service there is a little church called Farner Church of God.The people there are very friendly and the services are great.

  • I've been to The Fields of the Wood twice back in the '80s. I would like to see it again.

  • I've been a member of The Church of God of Prophecy for a long time. When I first joined it was the alphabet church. CPMA (church of prophecy marker association). There is others but won't go into detail right now. For $10 a year a person can join the CPMA. It helps to beautyfie the markers at Fields of The Wood. You don't have to be a member of the Church to join.

  • ive been there that place is wonderful

  • Is it open on Sunday?

  • I want to visit this place. Wow, its great. I hope I can some day.
