@nusser9 Are you kidding, Naruto will not become hokage? Also, there's been plenty of romance, hmm let's see. Asuma & Kurenai, Hinata's confession, When Yamato suggests that Sakura's feelings for Naruto may be more then friendship, Naruto's love for Sakura, etc. By the end of the series Naruto will be one of the strongest ninjas in the world, and he's not going to stop until he reaches his dream of being Hokage which i don't think the Leaf Village will be reluctant of giving the title to him.

@Ownage10297 he hasn't really, now has he. I know there's the sakura's confession chapter, but that's it.
I think this is one of the mangas that'll end openly.. they defeat the bad guy ( whoever that is in the end ) and then there'll be some hint of romance, however, Naruto will not have gotten a girlfriend, nor will he have become hokage.

@nusser9 I know it isn't the romantic genre but it has some romance, why would the author put all of this pairing developments and hints if he wasn't working towards pairings?
