Man I hope he stays at lightweight, I really can't see him being tested at lightweight but I really can't see him competing with any top 3 or 4 in the welterweight division, he's a small frame guy and either can't or won't bulk up in muscle. The problem with it is it screws you and me, the fans, because it throws the lw title on hold for a year or more, and what if he wins the belt? Then he screws both divisions to where we can't even see a title fight more than once every year or 8 months.

That comment was made a week ago before he ever asked for a rematch...And I honestly think Penn is capable of winning fights at the welterweight level. Maybe not Pierre again right away, but I could see a rematch in the future...if he starts to rack up wins again.

I agree, i don't care much for affliction but strikeforce and some of the japanese promotions put on some really good shows.

He already asked for a rematch, theres nothing epic about another brutal beatdown by a larger opponent. BJ needs to stay at lw where he wins fights.

I'll watch StrikeForce just because its not UFC not that i hate the UFC but i like changing things up every once in a while and is it gonna be on CBS or just ShoTime cause i dont get ShoTime
