*Joe's Pov*

Today was one eventful day, in good and bad. Good that we got the record deal and that I found Destinee, bad that I cant tell Kevin or Nick about her and that she's not letting me do anything to help her. I really want to kill this Jacobs man. How could mom not notice whats going on in her own home? And what happened today during the meeting proves that Destinee let it happen again, if Nick has been feeling like someone has slapped him for awhile now, I cant believe it that he has been feeling some of the pain of the abuse she's getting. Ah this is so frustrating i need a redbull. I jump off my bed and go down to the kitchen where there is a small glow coming from the inside.

Who could be in there at this time of night (11:45pm)? Its not Kevin he's still out with Trina. I poke my head in the door, sitting at the table lite by a electric lamp set Nick with his back towards the door. I cant see what he's doing but if he's doing it this late, he doesn't want us to know what it is. i was about to turn around and go back to my room but thought 'nah' flicked on the kitchen light making him jump as I walk over to the fridge, grab a red-bull turning around having Nick stare at me. I jump back pretending I hadn't noticed him there in the first place "Wow Nick scared me man!".
He looks at the red-bull in my hand shakes his head then turn back around "What are you doing down here in the dark?" I ask walking over over and looking at what he is doing fro behind his back. lying down on the table on front of our eyes where picture of us when we were younger. The one that caught my eye the most was one of Kevin,Nick, Destinee and I sitting on the steps in front of our old house back in New Jersey. Her eyes were big and round you could see the happiness in them as the three of us tickled he while we still kept our attention on the camera. I wish the days where still like that and no sadness ever crossed those big brown beautiful eyes of my little sister who's sad ever day now.

"That my favorite"Nick said pointing at the same one I was looking at "You know it was taken exactly 8 years ago today" I stare at the back of his head confused to how he would remember that "It says it on the back of the picture Joe" he laughed knowing me all so well. I sit down in the chair beside him.

"Why are you looking at the pictures?"I asked.

"Missing Ariel and wondering if we'll ever get her back" He answered simply "Do you ever think she'll come back?" he said looking at the pictures still.

"Yeah" I said getting up "one day" I pu t my hand on his shoulder "But you should change your attitude back first then she might" and walked off leaving him there confused be my statement which if I knew Nick, he was. I made it back ti my room , land on the bed take a lpng gulp of red-bull. "Ahhh...." that hits the spot not let it kick in.
