For sale - Registered Appaloosa Gelding "Fetchingly Handsome" (ApHc # CN 570915). 15.2 hands, 12 years old (3/4/97 foal date). "Fletch" is an extremely safe show horse that would be perfect for a young rider wanting to compete in 4H, local, and breed shows. He is extremely versatile - western, English, jumping, halter, trail, etc. - and can go from the show ring to the trail with no problem. We originally purchased Fletch for our 5 year old daughter and in terms of patience and safety, he has been a dream come true. Unfortunately, my daughter is very small and Fletch does extremely well when cued via your legs versus the reins. It will be quite some time before my daughter will be big enough (i.e., her legs reaching past the saddle blanket) to cue Fletcher to do all the things he's capable of. He is a talented horse and could be helping some other kiddo excel in the show ring. If you are looking for an extremely safe pony with show miles and your child has legs that reach past the saddle pad, here he is! Fletch is UTD on shots, worming, and shoeing -- and he loads, clips (ears included), bathes, ties, etc like a true gentleman. Sorry, Fletch was sold back in the summer of 2009 - about 2 weeks after the video was posted. Good kid horses are hard to find and I wish you the best of luck. We will be on the lookout again here soon.
