how old? Valvetronix amps, especially the 150 are still pretty new....

damn.. mine does exactly what yours is doing, and sounds exactly the same. mines pretty old, and my preamp tube is really dim. but you said you totally re-tubed it huh?

unfortunately no... your amp is a completely different animal than mine... being digital compare to my vintage amp.
Whats happening on mine is that one of the old original caps are bleeding and causing the noise, or so I'm told....

weird.. mine just started doing that too. mines a vox valvetronix 150. any suggestions?
