@angelcake318 you have it backwards, hehehe.
One Summer's Day reminds you of this.

I feel so much peace and I see so many memories when I listen to the music from every Studio Ghibli song.

@elmaguel318 You don't even pronounce those two the same way. Laputa: la-pew-tuh
La puta: lah poo-tah
-
Seriously, why, on every song or scene from Castle in the Sky on YouTube, does someone feel the need to comment how " la puta" means the whore in Spanish? It's not funny and besides it has nothing to do with Laputa. On top of that it makes the users who keep posting it look like immature children who think they're being clever by pointing out the coincidence that they sound similar. Seriously, go read Gulliver's travels and grow up.

Thank you soo much for uploading!! I cry every time I hear thus it's so beautiful!!! TT-TT

There is a parody of Laputa and the walking castle in Angel Beats, I loled so hard when I saw it since I've seen all Hayao Miyazaki movies three times

@elmaguel318 yes, and if you read Gulliver's travels (upon which the anime was loosely based) you would know that name was chosen on purpose for the city in the sky.
the first part reminds me of one summer's day in spirited away
