@brokebackcowboy3 no its sin(x.^2+y.^2) and then you let the x and y values variate with time.

shading interp
hidden on
axis([-10 10 -10 10 0 10]);
and use function surfc

hi, I'm trying animation in matlab but I'm getting stuck in getframe() function of matlab. My background always appears. It makes my movies so bad. Do you have any experiences?
