D'accord avec toi, j'ai grandi avec Tintin ansi que tous les heros du Journal de Tintin. C'est dommage qu'il n'y ait plus rien de sacre dans notre monde ou l'argent achete tout. J'aurais aime que le nouveau mari de Mme Herge ait permi a des artistes de talent de poursuivre l'oeuvre de Herge tout comme Dargaud a fait avec l'oeuve de PE Jacobs, un associe d'Herge qui est l'auteur de la serie Blake & Mortimer. Je sympathise avec toi. Excuse l'orthographe, je suis Americain.

@MysticTigeress Also, it's Tintin, not Tin Tin and the books have been here for at least 75 years so be glad Tintin in the movie doesn't look that old since apparently you seem to want him that way.

@MysticTigeress Does it really matter how old he is? It's a cartoon, and you can find hundreds of things worse then that in other movies. Plus, he doesn't really look that young and it won't hurt anyone if he did.

This being said, don't get me wrong, I never really liked the thought of people making a movies out of something that wasn't exactly by Herge's books, but Tintin's age is possibly the least of what I can criticize about this movie.

Why does Tin Tin look like he is no older than fourteen? I'd have said late twenties at LEAST - as far as I'm concerned, "the uncanny valley" isn't the problem. The fact that they compacted years and years of detective training into a ten-to-fourteen-year-old is.

Hopefully these are just preliminary images and they'll age him up to look like maybe he's not playing truant just to be here. :/
