You balanced out the two sides well with factual info and for that I applaud you. Less rest before birth means a more thorough labor experience. And I intend to look into primatology, actually. Right now it's been taxonomy as apart of my zoological major.

Actually there is a lot of evidence to show that modern medicine practices do not necessarily lead to easier births. Certainly we have fewer birth related deaths because medicine can intervene. Many of the practices have been found to lengthen birth, making it longer and more difficult. These include Mothers resting to much in the months before, and giving birth while laying on their backs. It is very important to visit a doctor to determine whether you are a candidate for natural childbirth.
