Well, this is to be continued but my first impression is that SPP does a much better job of providing a "real" foveon three layer look picture and that ACR tend to give any shot a bayern look. Sort of.

  • For 1 thing you working the pic in 8 bit mode in camera raw, should be pro rgb 16 bit mode

  • Eh? I have a hard time thinking that my raw would become 8bit when working in ACR..? mm.. Send me an email about this. :)

    The two files do not have same colour profile!...so this might not correspond science there would be a conversion.

  • Good to know. :-) I had been wondering if I was missing anything.

    Next time when you get ready to compare open both images as layers in one photoshop file so everything is registered. Zoom where you want and then toggle the top layer. :-)
