To mark the 20th anniversary of the UNCRC Save the Children co-hosted the world premiere of the play Listen to Me: True Stories from Marginalised Children Around the World, at the Unicorn Theatre, London. This collaboration between Save the Children, EveryChild and Ice and Fire theatre company resulted in a genuinely inspiring and thought provoking play telling, in childrens own words, the challenges they continue to face to realise their basic rights. The script based on interviews conducted by Save the Children and EveryChild allows children, who may otherwise be unheard, to share their stories and speak to a wider audience.

The performance was followed by an expert panel led by our Keynote speaker, Marta Mauras from the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child and Adrian Lovett Director of Campaigns of Save the Children and Anna Feucthwang, CEO of EveryChild.
