I have a N97 MINI and i have the same problem with symbols.

The problem is in greek language.I unistalled greek language,and works perfect only with the English language.I corrected that using ovi suite.Synchronize your phone to pc,and check for software updates.It will fix the problem.

my % symbaol is on the C key and the & is on the V.

your shift button looks like its from a different country too so you downloaded the wrong firmware for your phone. did you hack or download too early before your countries uupdate was released?

its not a fake but i think he updated his n97 with the n97 mini update. the n97 and n97mini doesn't hve the same keybord

i`ve got an italian n97...it`s got other symbols... so, it wouldn`t correspond with other firmware. so, maybe you installed a wrong firmware...or you hacked it with a wrong firmware...wrong files... (for other languages) it shouldn`t be a big deal...
