actually.....he is wrong about what a harmony is, a harmony is any pitch other than the pitch of the melody....this is the reason that there is the terms dissonance and consonance

@foreverxundefined No, a third... an octave is 8 steps between the same pitch of the same frequency... A third is just a small amount above the original note.
