@MileyCyrus192 The Bel V8 is the V955 with a different skin. Not the 995. The difference in the two isn't that extreme either way. i don't believe any major retailer carries the 995 and calls it's that.

I purchased this detector a few months ago, and I cannot say that I am impressed with the performance. Constant On Ka sensitivity is usually only 1/3rd of a mile to 1/2 a mile. Does anyone think I might have a defective detector?

@thecanadianvandal This guy is just a straight up salesman; the Bel V8 is the V955. The V8 is compared to the 8500; it's close but has more falsies.The only difference is the skin; which allows Best Buy to hike up the price, because you can't shop around for the same thing anywhere else. If you buy a V955 online, it'll likely be cheaper by around 50 bucks.

I Live In The U.K. And Have A Bel980.
When Powered-Up The Display Shows 'LO1 CAL', Can Anyone Out There Advise Me What This Is And How It Can Be Rectified.
Tried Emailing Beltronics Customer Services But They Don't Seem Interested In Overseas Customers Or In Products That Aren't Brand New. I Have Seen Many Complaints On Forums About Their Aftersales Service!

@cygnusxl5 This means that the detector is not calibrating. You would need to send it to Beltronics for service
