Here I'm testing my uncle's Kitty Hawk M5 amp.
I'm playing with Zoom 505II effects.
I used a "reviewed" version of clocks to test it...
It's not a perfect performance, but I need to know is: if I need to record a guitar part, how can I get a good sound from my amp? What's the best way to record notes from the ampli speaker?
Tell me if you know please...
And be careful with your comments =)

p.s.: at the beginning of the video there's a massive error... My humbucker is a "Maverick" and not a "mavercik". Sorry.

  • ce l'hai ancora la testata?

  • @gervason mai avuto nessuna testata. nel video usavo un combo (non mio).

  • Nice playing, and perfect amp. I have the Kitty M1 60 Watts version. I think they are even better than Mesa Boogie!

  • @Sting0NL Well... I have never tried a Mesa, but I think that this Kitty Hawk has a beautiful clean sound. Like a Fender Deluxe. Anyway... I'd like so much to get a Mesa Boogie =) (the perfect amp should be composed by a Clean Fender Channel and a Mesa Drive Channel)

  • Oh yes !! Sugar for my Ears..Thank you..I am so glad I have JK and it looks as though you are happy as well!!

  • nice

  • Very good sound Clean with Balls I have the Soho preamp The kitty hawk would overheat

  • Nice playing buddy! Great feel & phrasing with some really interesting runs. Love to hear more of your stuff.

  • try a shure sm 57 or a sennheiser e 906. if you are looking for better results you could use condeser mics. akg 214 or something like this. to find a sweet spot you have to place the mic in front of your speaker, move it from center to the outside and listen what it sounds like. you could also use a portable recorder like a zoom h2/h4 or a tascam dr7 and so on just to find that sweet spot. then you just mark the place with a tape and you could start recording.

  • just to know, how dou record ur backing tracks?
