Zahrbat or "rolling stone", that is how the father of choreographer and dancer Brahim Bouchelaghem was called. Passionate gambler and adventurer, he moved from Algeria to France in order to get work and ended up losing everything playing poker. Brahim inherited a lot from his father: the uncontrollable passion and drive, the desire to take risks, to fight till the end, to remain faithful to one's true self. All of these personality traits he transferred into his dance -- sometimes brutal, sometimes romantic, and almost always - unpredictable. Hip-hop by Bouchelaghem is just a language that one can understand. The story that he tells is multifaceted and philosophical: the story of his love to his father, the sweetness of sinking lower and lower, the unquenchable desires, the national specificities of playing poker. An emotional, sincere story which sparks admiration and jealousy.
