I'm glad Jeff was as far ahead as he was because we all know if Howdy Doody was within striking distance he would've wrecked the 24, he was still a car or two from his weekly quota. But still congrats to Gordon fans, you deserved this win :)

@splatbubble I've been watching NASCAR since '88. Trust me, in the mid-to-late 90's, Jeff was THE most aggressive and dominant driver. Even Dale Earnhardt himself said several times that Jeff Gordon was better than him, and would probably eclipse his record for championships. Thankfully here in 2011, we're seeing Jeff Gordon almost back to his top game. But now a days it's a lot harder to be as dominant as he once was... especially in terms of winning races
