It had to be one of Jane Seymour's best movies ever, other than Somewhere in Time with Chris Reeves.

This is one of the greatest moments in television history. The whole series was a masterpiece.

I have not seen this clip since the early 90ss. I was a huge fan of the books by Wouk and the mini series was unbelievable. This always just pulls at my heart strings and just about brings me to tears. Thank you for posting this.

I love how she replaces the original child's name used in the song with Louis' name starting at 0:37. Translation of that line: "Sleep, little Louis, sleep."

Thank you for posting this! I love this mini series. It is hard to watch, yet it is also fascinating. And this scene is amazing.

@roseanne74 : His great grandfather. Aaron was Nathalies grandfather. Her own dad dies in Winds of War from either a stroke or a heart attack. Louis is saved by Berel Jastrow.

@KittyKatCleary Better than Ali McGraw, playing the same role in "Winds Of War".
It is just a video clip and is still so hard to listen to. It touches one's soul.
