Bass oriented 140 bpm instrumental tracks = Dubstep. Categorisation makes things easier. Just because something does not have a rigid halfstep rhythm doesn't make a difference ^^

Note mostly the fact that this track is bass oriented. You don't find this sub in Techno.

The snare just is placed a little bit earlier than normal, that's all, still 140

google for a bpm clicker, tap along to the beat. if you tap too slow or fast you will end up with a multiple of 140, so 70 or 280, which is equivalent.
