@cheekieweekie - It is almost beyond human comprehension how evil these MF'ing politicians are. No matter what they do, no matter how many lives they mess up, they act as though they are teflon Dons. Not one of my 9 children, ( 1 is a police chief, one an airline captain, and one is a MD),ever served. Nor will my 23 grandchildren. I think I have talked at least 100 kids out of joining the military over the years. Be it PTSP, DU-238 poisoning etc...nobody comes home from war normal.

Rumsfeld will be looking over his shoulder for the rest of his life; people will fill in where courts fail. Expect vigilante justice where the constitution is abrogated so egregiously.

The pentagon is a credible source for *truth* as in the kind of truth that is not... very helpful to hear that building of scumbags confirm the crimes.

Oh Bush & Rummy are going DOWN! LIFE imprisonment.. I can wait to see the great big NOTHING that will happen.
Good luck lawyer, you're going to need it.

"strike a balance between government objectives and individuals rights even when the stakes are high"
No, especially when the stake are high

Send Rumsfeld, Bush, Obama, etc. and every fucker in the house and congress to Gitmo and waterboard those fuckers, it would be start to all the terror and abuses of the US gov.
This country is going to hell unless we do something to get it back, maybe it's too late - ugly days to come!

@evilmeerkat007 Because what's WRONG is WRONG regardless of who does it. Torture is wrong. Denial of due process to American citizens is wrong. Should we just let those who do wrong, go free?

why is this guy always banging on about bush. you do realise obama is doing the ssame thing right?
interrogation is used to gather intel
torture is, and has always been, used to gain *confessions*.
they didn't want new information, they wanted the information they gave to be signed. you can't invade Iraq unless you waterboard a few people to get them to tell you that there's all these WMD's there. It didn't matter if the WMD's existed or not.. that wasn't the point.
