Today the kids and I hunted a different part of the canal for fossils. This part of the creek was nearly devoid of shark teeth. We hunted nearly two and a half hours and found less than 20 teeth between us, but there were two nice angustidens found which made it worth it.

  • U may not have found many teeth but I would be so thankful if there was a creek even half this good near where i live. I just love looking cause you never know when you will find THAT tooth. If you know if there is any place near the black river in NC id love to know. Your a real good dad takeing your time off to take your kids to do this.
