  • This may be a stupid question but is Dermablend the same one from Vichy's Dermablend? or are they different companies?

  • @Luna12Z That's actually a very good question! To my knowledge, Vichy Laboratories bought out Dermablend USA a while back and from then on, all Dermablend products were and are distributed under the Vichy name. I believe they are both essentially the same thing and produced by the same doctors. =)

  • I was in the store today and I tried the sample of the Dermablend foundation and I loved how it looked! I was doing last minute Christmas shopping for others so I didn't purchase it for myself, but I would love to go back and get the products. However I have a question for you, how does it show up in flash photography? Does it make your face look white and ashy? Thanks

  • @divalizzous Yep! a lot of SPF filled products reflect in flash photography by just looking very white in the areas you've applied.

  • hi sharon. im new to using makeup but i do want to cover up my acne scars a lil bit. should i put on a primer before putting on this cover creme? and while using this cover creme, should i justuse my fingers or a brush? thanks.

  • @lovehinz Primer can be helpful because it can keep you matte and give you a better finish to your face. Everyone has their opinions, but personally, I like using primers because I think it creates a barrier between my skin and the make-up and also just allows my makeup to last all day. You can start out by using Monistat. Google the reviews for it on the site called makeupalley. Both fingers and brushes are fine. Just depends on you. Whatever you choose, just make sure it's clean.

  • I though that finding dermablend was easy here in.California. I got mine at dillards. I got a free makeup bag too lol yay. I've been using my cover creme for 2 days now my face is.pretty oily and it lasts me a while but I still need to check for a few more days.it definitely gives a more softer look to the face tho. :) I love the powder. I got the tan setting powder. :)

  • cheek breakouts are from the lungs. you may have airborne allergens in your home so get tested!

  • @dragonflyy5 thank you very much :)

  • @FruitiTEA yes it does, i think they have some pictures and more information on the dermablend website :)

  • you have pretty eyes!! :)

  • can it cover vitiligo?

  • I noticed in the ingredients that there is mineral oil in this product...is that a problem for acneic skin?

  • This is a really great review! Love the fact that you are showing us your face when it's halfly done!

I was wondering if it's good for oily skin as well? And if it will cover up blackheads and large pores?

  • @OhBeauty88 Ohhh~ thank you for clearing that up!

I bought vichy's derma blend ultra corrective foundation cream stick with the setting powder, Thinking it was the same brand you got.. but when I got home I saw yours was just dermablend and not vichy I got scared there at the moment... I couldn't find the exactly one you recommended but thought that maybe this one and one you got in that jar might might act the same....
