I have a question: There is a reference to a "Mr. Hancock and his wife, Muriel". Is that the Norman Hancock, of Mesa, Arizona, who sued the church (stake leaders and high councilmen who excommunicated him), for defamation of character?
I would like to know.
Also, is Norman Hancock still alive, now? (I think that he would be an older senior citizen, if he is still around).

@shooster11 In RE: your negative prediction, if you are MARRIED TO THE CHURCH, as you covenant to do, in the temple (no, those aren't the exact words, but the intent), then there could be problems for Lyndon's marriage, in the future: his wife will have to choose who or what will get her LOYALTY, in the future.
Hopefully, his wife will see through the un-American "loyalty" thing (as such a trait plays itself out, in that insipid religion).
There is no room for DISSENT, in the LDS Crutch.

he has absolutely no idea what he now believes in.

The notion that going back to church means that you condone their excummunication actions is total bullshit. Someone can go back as a means of saying you can do or say whatever you want to or about me, but I am not going to let you determine who I am or what God knows to be true about me.
As for he and his still-active wife divoricing, I don't know if they will stay together or not, but it's clear they have different paths so it won't be a shock if someday they say "adios" to one another.

Lyndon: "... whatever the kinds of things they (LDS Church members) conjure up in their minds that people who depart the faith do, and they conjure up quite a few things."
Yes, some do and yes, those who depart the faith (Lyndon Lamborn, for example) also conjure up a lot of things about those who remain in the faith.
Isn't it amazing how when you point a finger at someone else, you have three others pointing right back at you.

More lies about doctrine.

So, let me see if I have this straight, Mr. Lamborn..........
You REJECT the notion that a man received "divine revelations" by starring at magic rocks in his hat, and that makes YOU the drug addict???
OhhhhhhhKAY!!

@ToolFan68 that actually sounds like catholics lol

Sound like the Federal Reserve to me, or non-compliance with the government.
Then you and I are not seeing the same church, cba. 50 years in Mormonism I see it EXACTLY as he states it. If you are not right on track with the LDS church on every point, you are considered to be, at some level, a scumbag. A really goodguy scumbag or a really raunchy scumbag. But, alas, a scumbag nonetheless.

For me, Lyndon ties it all up very neatly with his last statement, "Spirituality
trancends all organized religions".
