The 17th Count Vasco da Gama was a contestant on the 16 November 1958 episode of WML. Notice how the panel instantly recognizes the name. I would wager that few school children today are even taught about Vasco da Gama.

  • @KarinPluss Ok. I see that you are also friends with Dorisdaygirl too.

  • @calihartley2010 Sure, let him have his fun, I'd probably do the same. It was a mere observation, not a critisism. Oh, and we only have silly, little titles like..uhm King and Queen and stuff like that. Just minor stuff, really, so I guess I shouldn't talk.

  • @KarinPluss Well he is entitled to keep his title if he obtained it legally. What titles do you have? None I'm sure.

  • @Nobeester I agree. With feminism, women want to be like men and act so cheap and unclassy that I would not want to kiss their dirty hands which they mostly do not keep clean. Liberals, communists and feminists have done more destruction than floods have to the world. The decline of the west is due to women not wanting to have kids, but want to have money and act like men. Too bad that when women had it good, they did not like it but prefered to be libtards and want equal rights.

  • @binaway It's just an affectation by AF

  • I must admit that I've never heard the phrase that John uses at 1:13. It sounds like "in stanta". Does anyone knows what he said?

  • Bennett, what does the fact that you mispronounced the word "demise" last week (1:39) have to do with anything?

  • @binaway Your confusing two different cities. Brooklyn is a borough within New York City. Brookline is a suburb of Boston.

  • Brookline is in MA, Brooklyn is in NY.

  • When I hear modern Americans say Brooklyn it sounds like Brook-LIN ( as in Berlin). On this clip it sounds like Brook- LYN ( as in line). Has the pronunciation changed in the last 50 years.
