I agree with everything Rand said in this interview. We need more of his Constitutional Conservatism back in Washington.

I'm a life long Maine resident. And I supported the March 23rd bail out. All I can say is that you boys in Kentucky keep it up! You're turning heads and sending a message! I hope you make the right decision and vote Rand Paul come the election.

You have a great point. I actually did a video stressing this kind of thing. Coal actually enabled us not to chop down what's left of forests.

stop bomb throwing and offer a solution other than taxing people out of using energy and right back to the 19th Century.

You are doing more harm than good you militant fool....Ignorant is a fantastic word and you are the example of it...

Is that your responce? really that is your responce.......you degrade the cause my brother and I refuse to treat you as if you actually thought about the issue,,,,,,Bring it with your views....

hmmm. So you think nuclear will do it. I think we need to invent quality electric cars, and go on a nuclear based energy system. We have enough nuclear fuel for a few hundred years while we work on our space program. If we could get a solar power installation on Mercury we could beam all that energy back here and live off that.
Also, we could begin mining the asteroids and starting up an economy on Mars.
The future is bright.

People are ignorant. They have opinons about electricity and energy and don't have a clue how it works or if it works. If you use wind and solar it will at best be a supplemental power source. If you use batteries then you are really doing a number on the envir. God blessed up with coal... USE IT! Why ain't we talking about forbiding Middle east from drilling oil?

Burning coal is bad for the envirment, maybe. Freezing to death is bad for your health, DEFINITELY.

Central Oklahoma Here
I know coal is vital for your state, it would be like taking natural gas away from oklahoma, but buring it does release heavy metals that end up in the fish population in every lake and river in the country. Coal is one of the few issues where I have a real problem supporting the industry. Because property rights are being violated by the burning of coal, I am not trying to demonize anyone, but I wish they would get some sort of filters worked out for the heavy metals..
good old-fashioned common sense, not so common anymore

our coal reserves rival Saudis oil in total energy content, and its cheaper than oil.
You can go pay 5x more for electricity from that that windmill, just leave me out of it.
