Extra Special Video: The Pedestal Vase (Washout) By George Jennings, T.C. & Co

This video is a favourite of mine, it's "The Pedestal Vase" made by G. Jennings.

It's the toilet that you may have heard of being used at The Great Exhibition.

As you can see, it is a washout and it is highly decorated! There is relief pattern on the front (It's a pedestal vase, hense the name of the loo) and transfer pattern slapped on top of it! The patterns are amazing.

This loo apparently flushed something like 10 apples, a sponge, three air vessles, plumbers smudge with paper stuck to it and things like that, I can't remember the exact things! I'll get a book out later and look.

The flush is truely spectacular, the jets on the "ledge" are really good! There's also the usual jets around the rim of the pan. It has a VERY powerful flush, so powerful you can feel the mist of water coming up!
