Hi, nice work DRSSTC, what driver used for this , can you send me the schematic please.

Hi Can you send me the schematic of you interrupter please?

Guess that depends on your primary current. Lower your pulse width to like 50uS or less once you ramp voltage to 650. You'll probably have to destroy one set to see how they perform at that voltage and frequency +pulse width. There is surely a point at which they will survive but what output you get at that setting is anyone's guess.

holy macaroni, look at the 1:50 part with that stick which was probably cursed somwhere, but that doesnt matter , those light bolts just remind me .....of the good old times .............. just love that part, and where could i download the intro song??
Hi nice drsstc, do you used OCD for protect yours IGBTs? and used variac transformer for increased the voltage or how many volts and amps used in your half bridge?

@80927269 no, this has a simple driver with no protection, and bridge supply is about 200V and limmitaded current with some chokes

I can't help thinking this coil sounds
more like a interupted SSTC and
not a DRSSTC as it lacks the 'throated'
crackle sound of a tuned primary....if that makes any sense?...lol

that cause i set a quite low PW on interrupter, maybe..
