At Astronomy Night in Phoenix, a junior-high-schooler asks: have you ever discovered any meteorites that are millions of years old? Co-host of the award-winning show Meteorite Men Geoffrey Notkin describes the Oldest terrestrial meteorite found in Sweden, and the 100-mile across crater in northern Russia that yields meteors more than 35.7 million years old. Funny story about hunting with Russian team (in between their vodka breaks!) in their old military helicopters... death-defying to say the least!
