that sounds amazing best ive ever heard good job man and what all is done to it?
-
haha it almost sounds like a diesel! It's sick though

@Newbieman420 Not to beat a dead horse, but I own a 2000 XJ and it has a 4.0 straight 6 engine. NOT a V6. They didn't start with the 3.7 V6 until the Jeep Liberty as a replacement for the Cherokee in 2002.

@rustyoljeep242 in his defense, some Jeeps do have V style motors... theres just two extra cylinders... they're called V8's.... lol i guess his username says it all
-
@rustyoljeep242 Yep, that's 100% correct. And I must say, the Jeep 4.0l L6 is one of the best motors if you are looking for long running life

Newbie, educate yourself. The 4.0 INLINE 6 was used in xj/mjs 87-01, yjs 91-95, tjs 96-06, zjs 93-98, wj 99-04
I invite the skeptics to check it out also. Happy Thanksgiving!

So does it have a cherrybomb or is it a straightpipe
-
@zeddre the 4.0 started way before 87 do ur homework

@Newbieman420 There's no such thing as mythical "back pressure". Positive pressure inside the exhaust system doesn't help the engine run any better. However, there is an ideal pipe diameter that's based on the engine's displacement and operating RPMs, that ensures that the gasses "pulse" through the exhaust system. The differences in pressure help to draw the exhaust through the pipe, so that the engine doesn't have to work so hard to push it out.
