Between 1975 and 1979 the Khmer Rouge devastated Cambodia in what is now considered to have been one of the worst humanitarian disasters of the 20th century. More than 30 years later, Pol Pot's legacy lives on.

Cambodia's Forgotten Children is a unique insight into the problems facing young people in Cambodia's capital today. The film will take you to Phnom Penh's poorest areas, explain why so many children are at risk from exploitation and introduce you to the Non Government Organisations (NGO's) trying to help.

Touching interviews and hard-hitting footage will introduce you to an underprivileged and vulnerable youth, whose spirit and resilience shine through against all odds.

  • @spk969 Pol Pot even killed Prince Shinanouk's family.

  • @spk969 Well somebody else shot the drug infested Pol Pot. How many houses had its roofs caved in when Pol Pot was overthrown

  • Is it really true Pol Pot shot and killed all those people who wrote that gunpoint national anthem right after it was recorded.

  • @mzjep ..Hello, I hope your father will find his family....I am also.. lost my family in polpot as well....and not knowing is there any of my family still living or being kill, yes it is hard to live and not know , what happen to your love one....but every day I hope that some a merical can happen to cambodian who had lost so much...like my self and your father and all the cambodian as well..anyway, nice meeting you..and good luck..

  • We should captured Pol Pot and brought him into this place and let him see. PP destroyed every things and everyone.

  • It's pretty obvious to me, we need to firstly stop world over population. Then reduce our present numbers because even now we are destroying our planet's enviroment, resources and species. Then we need a world government that evenly alocates the manufacturing, ect.. and provies basic health care and food for everyone. Lets face it, corporate capitalism has failed.

  • Lets provide all the necessities of living to all the worlds people. We have the resources.
